To message a group, follow chtr on Twitter.
You can send a direct message to any of your Chatterous groups by sending a DM to chtr of the form:
<group name> <msg>
Where <group name> is the group name and <msg> is the message you want to send to the group.
You can also add Twitter users to a Chatterous group by clicking on the Add People button and adding their Twitter username. This will initiate a Follow request from chtr. Once they are following chtr, they will receive group messages in the form of DM's without having to sign up for Chatterous.
STOP
Stop receiving messages via Twitter. If you have a web account, it will switch your primary contact to the web.
GO
Start receiving messages via Twitter. You will be receiving messages from all groups.
STOP <group name>
Stop receiving messages from a particular group (sets the group contact to your web contact if you have one). You will receive messages from other groups.
GO <group name>
Start receiving messages from a particular group. You will not receive messages from groups you were ignoring.

A list of available commands
JOIN <group name> <passcode>
Join a group You will need to know the group passcode in order to start talking to the group. If the group is public, you do not need to enter a passcode.
GET # <group name>
Get the last # messages posted to the group (default is 1, max 10).
SNOOZE # <group name>
Stop getting messages for # minutes (default is 20).
LEAVE <group name>
Leave a particular group. You will receive messages from other groups.

How it works
You can send and receive messages from your Chatterous groups via Twitter.To message a group, follow chtr on Twitter.

How to link your Twitter account to Chatterous
If you already have a Chatterous account you can link it to Twitter by adding your Twitter username under Ways to Reach you in your profile.You can also add Twitter users to a Chatterous group by clicking on the Add People button and adding their Twitter username.
